About This Blog

If you love all kinds of flowers, this is the place to hang out at. If you've ever wanted to, or tried to, arrange fresh, silks and dried flowers and it just "didn't turn out right," then you have found the right place.

20 years experience is all I'm willing to admit to in public *smile* - at least that long. My background includes florist experience, my own craft business, event decorating, and custom designing of permanent arrangements. I'm often asked what to "do with this" involving a growing collection of vases that came along with those special occasion fresh flower deliveries; the upcoming parties that need to look professional when you are working on the Dollar Store budget; making the impossible look like a million dollars. Plus, how to make it all come apart and be recycled (if that's the situation.) Tips and secrets all the way. It's fun, it shouldn't be another stress in your life.

Yes, you can go to YouTube. Although my unique way of showing you how will spoil you in no time. If the project allows, I will show you how to make them with both fresh and silks-drieds at the same time. Your choice on which one you want to try yourself. If you are aren't doing this on a regular basis, I can show you the short cuts so you don't have to buy fancy tools or tons of stuff you won't need again for a while (if ever again). But I'm hoping that this inspires your inner creativity and gets you excited about doing more than one or two things. And I am looking forward to you sending back pictures and asking a ton of questions, seeing your creations once they're finished. Oh, yeah, about that "finishing part" - there's no excuses to not finish it when they take less than 15 minutes to a half hour. Really.

Creating Florals is a play on words, any thing involving flowers is likely to show up on here - all of which will be fun and easy and not always expensive, follow along to find out how.

Welcome!
